Women Drum

Women drum is an opportunity for local women in the Northern Beaches of Coffs Harbour to come and gather in common-unity as women have for years. Experience the primal grooves of ancient tribal African rhythms on crackin’ African djembe drums. You’ll learn multi-layered African rhythms and use the drum as an instrument of power and self empowerment. Groove together under the direction of an experienced teacher and facilitator. Learn how to use the drum as a bridge from your monkey mind to the spaciousness within. Practice mindfulness, or rather mind-emptiness as you learn simple rhythms on a drum and enter the gateway into the timeless, flow space. Build confidence, technique and etiquette. Be surprised by what you learn in a small amount of time.
